This photo was taken a couple of weeks ago at the end of April. At that point, it seemed like the snow would never leave, but then every April I seem to think that.
Of particular interest was our "two visitors" who didn't seem shy about resting for cud chewing only 3-4 feet from our back door. No matter how many times I see the local moose, I never tire of the sight.
This view sure does look a lot more like spring now. Hard to believe that all the snow was less than a month ago, but thank goodness it's gone.
While I look forward to and love fresh snow in the fall, my March I am ready for it to be melted.
The real point of this posting, since this is almost always a knitting blog, is to share my finished Keava. The spring colors seem perfect for this time of year, and luckily, it's still plenty cool enough to wear... especially in the mornings.
I still have several things I should be working on so they could be finished, but instead, I skipped right onto a new project... Rheingold.
So far, I have only one pattern repeat complete, but I am sure loving the colors.
You can finish the others later. Rheingold is glorious. Love the colors.
Keava is no slouch in the looks dept either!
But the moose......too cool. I love how they're lounging. Breakfast in bed?
